Boudoir Photography Style - Augusta, GA Boudoir Photographer

Every photographer has a unique style and boudoir is no different. Augusta Boudoir Photography is fresh, moody and elegant all at the same time. My overall style is not "cutesie" pin up, although we can mix in some"fun" and lighthearted shots in your session.

My personal strength is tailoring your session according to your own personal interests, which commonly involves shooting on location.  I love on location because of the challenges of shooting in an unfamiliar space with unpredictable lighting.

I am proud to say that I am not a one trick pony....that's a fun way of letting you know that I am NOT limited to being just a natural light photographer, which is a critical factor to consider with boudoir.

I utilize different lighting techniques to produce deliberate results.  Mixing it up with lighting and location is sooooo important for achieving specific outcomes in photography, especially with boudoir.  This is part of the reason I like for you to share with me in our consultation certain photographs you've seen that appeal to you.

Looking at pictures that appeal to you tells me some key information that I need to know about what type of look you like so I can plan my lighting accordingly

I strive to give you the look and feel of images that you like best, whether it's light and airy or dark and moody.  Of course, exact lighting capability depends somewhat on available space but I do try to make my lighting as flexible and portable as possible for on location.

I prefer to do sessions in your own home because that's where you are comfortable, but most of all because your husband will never look at your furniture the same after he sees your pictures!!

You may think your home is drab and there is nothing special about it.  But I walk into your home with a fresh pair of eyes and can pick out certain looks for your pictures that you may have never before considered.  Of course,  you may opt to do your session at a different location that is special to you, and we can also do it in-studio.  If it's at a hotel or a location with usage fees, then the cost will be added to the session cost.

My goal is to create high quality images worthy of magazines, but most importantly, they are images that you will cherish for the rest of your life.
